Niina Kuosmane

We continue the SHAPES theme here in Rice Candy with 3-dimensional ceramic art pieces by Niina Kuosmane.

These ceramic cubes are provoking enough to explore, play and bring out the child in you for a brief moment. These linear minimal pieces are meant to animate you're imagination without the need of colors.

The Alpha of all rectangles, subtracts and adds spaces, for you to interact with the dimension provided by Niinas porcelain art.

oh no, you must read the book. the movie doesn't even match up...

but then again, the book is from a young girls perspective and is a little long winded and cliche at times. but please, read the book :)

how are things going with rice candy?
you've collected some really nice art and artists i see

It must be a wonderful sensation to actually touch and manipulate a work of art in an exhibit.

I like to move things...
afterwards I might put them back just the same...but, the moving...almost irresistible...
even if it is only a mental activity.

I like the idea of this whole art installation. Very clever

Yes it is a very wonderful relaxing idea just to have someone interact with this.

Would be great if she had a art show here in Los Angeles for me to see it in person.
